Why am I a grief counsellor?
The loss of my father during my adolescence left me feeling completely disconnected from myself. It was a defining experience that highlighted the true importance of communication and relationships. My own grief journey became a profound path of self-discovery, and it was during this time that I realized the power of healing through grief. This experience inspired me to support others who are navigating the difficult and often painful process of loss.
Grief is a deeply personal journey, and I am here to show you that grieving is not only necessary, it’s essential for healing. I want to share the knowledge, tools, and insights I’ve gained through my own experiences when you’re ready. My sensitivity, empathy, and understanding will be your support as you uncover what lies within you, enabling you to reconnect with yourself and begin your healing process.

From a young age, I’ve been deeply attuned to the subtleties of human behavior and energy. This sensitivity has shaped my understanding of communication, which I believe is essential in grief. Grief can feel isolating, and finding the right words, or simply having someone truly listen, can make all the difference. Whether you need to express and regulate your emotions, share memories, or simply be heard, communication helps bridge the gap between the pain of loss and the possibility of healing. I’ve spent my life honing the skill of listening deeply and offering a compassionate space for others to express themselves. This is especially important in grief, where unspoken emotions often need to be acknowledged before healing can begin.

When we lose a loved one, we also lose a part of ourselves. The relationships we once had, both with others and with ourselves, are forever altered. That’s why, in my approach, I focus on helping you rebuild the relationship you have with yourself. Through this process, you’ll discover who you are now and how to embrace this new chapter of your life. Grieving isn’t just about the loss of a loved one, it’s about mourning the life you once had and navigating the complexities of everything that’s changed since.
